More and more private equity investors are finding opportunities across the supply chain --from upstream farm production to midstream processors and distribution to downstream food services.
Today there are more than 40 private equity funds that specialize in agribusiness, with close to $8 billion in total assets. Carlyle Group's co-founder recently called agribusiness "one of the greatest areas for private equity."
At this Capital Roundtable conference, you'll hear directly from the CEOs and operators of leading agribusiness companies on a range of topics including field to controlled environment farming, economics of raising cattle and fish aquaculture, and the importance of technology and agriculture infrastructure.
Recognized agribusiness experts will be discussing improved farming practices across super farms and continued consolidation trends of high value crop production. We will also look at valuations and trends in the agribusiness capital markets.
Panelists will discuss technology that is changing the industry in productivity, sustainability, and waste management. You will also hear from leading indoor hydroponic greenhouses and aquaculture, and other areas moving beyond the startup stage to middle-market investor interest.
You'll learn about the very latest developments in this complex yet rewarding marketplace when you attend The Capital Roundtable’s ENCORE conference -- “Private Equity Investing in Agribusiness Focused Companies,” being held in New York City on Thursday, July 23.
